The Empty Cradle

"Empty Cradle" is the term that is used frequently by crooked Islamophobic politicians in Europe when they are empty of good ideas. I mean they need to give a speech prepaid or whatever, public one telling people about their accomplishments. And when they have none, they start talking non-sense. Their failure to fix the economy will force them to blame immigrants and immigration, Islamic immigration to be more specific. However, it depends on the geography. In the U.S, they talk much about Latino immigration or Black skin immigrants in countries like Sweden or Denmark.

I am not really sure about the problem of some Greeks, or Danish, not to have more babies. They use condoms and birth control bills way more than average. I had a Canadian friend that told me that as young as 14 or 25 years old buying birth control bills from his pharmacy. In no case that an Arab or Muslim points a gun to one girl to force her swallow the birth control bill or use any other birth control methods. You know what my Anglo-Saxon buddy said that if you don't use a condom, a Muslim will cut your balls with a sharp razor.

The family values are highly appreciated in the communities that European complaints are flooding the old continent by immigration. They used to nickname the Ottoman Empire "Europe Sick man". Now others are nicknaming Europe. In Europe, the Anglo-Saxon Protestant whites were infected with Capitalist individualism. And this is why family values are back step to the margin. The individual success is more important than the group or the family. Families are getting smaller and then houses. Nucleus family replaced the extended family.

Many reasons stand behind the Europeans' empty cradles.

The first and most important are the economy and inflation. The cost of raising new born babies is higher in Europe because people prioritize high living standards. You know, the latest IPhone, extended summer vacation, expensive laptops and other unnecessary luxuries. Immigrants and newcomers prioritize saving to open a business, buy a house and start a new family.

Other things play a role like colonialism, Anglo-Saxon mentality. Before we talk about how Mexico is poor at exporting gang violence and drugs to the U.S, let's not forget that states like Texas and California, were Mexican lands before losing it to the U.S by means of military methods. California is the sixth largest economy in the world, and Texas is an Oil company's hub.

We need to read history from a different angle, not just searching for someone or something to blame. We need to read more about the political economy of the crisis to understand the reasons for the mass immigration after 2011, the largest since WW2. Before we talk about refugees and immigrants for economical reasons, we should ask ourselves about what the colonist powers are doing over there, shuffling their noses in other people's business.
